Godzilla 3: The King Of The Sea

Designs were created for three additional Titans in 2014’s Godzilla movie. The male and female MUTOs proved to be powerful adversaries for Godzilla, but there were other candidates for his rivals in the movie. Godzilla could have fought monsters that differ greatly from the two chosen for the movie.

Legendary’s MonsterVerse is populated with dozens of Titans, many of which being creatures who have remained hidden for millennia deep underground or in the hidden Hollow Earth world. Godzilla served as the building blocks for all the lore in the MonsterVerse by introducing a new interpretation of Godzilla and the two MUTOS. Interestingly, audiences’ introduction to Godzilla’s world nearly happened quite differently. Unused artwork associated with the movie confirms plans for Titans knowns as Pterodactyl, Vishnu, and Rokmutul. But of course, none of them have actually appeared in the MonsterVerse.
